Welcome to A Home for Swallows.
This is my new piece, and an exciting step for the kinds of stories we experiance through animation.
La Maison des Hirondelles; A Home for Swallows is an 11 minute surrealist-romance animated short. It's the story of a woman, Claire, and her husband Maurice on a trip across the countryside of 1970s France. Their relationship is pushed to the edge through the lense of Maurice’s paintings, and life together falls apart as the line between what is real and what is art becomes blurred.
It's a beautiful story that should be told, and my team of over 40 artists and I have been working for the past 2 years to bring it to life.
